Llama Wholesale Drug Inc.

Owners: Lisa George, Lynne Rice, Marilyn Hansen Address: 8302 Baseline Road, Little Rock, 72209, 562-8925 Start-up date: Aug. 9

Lisa George and Lynne Rice have another small business hunch.

Call it good business sense, or call it a woman's intuition. Whatever the label, George and Rice made a $4-million business out of their first venture, Electronic Finders Inc. of Little Rock.

In their second business, Llama Wholesale Drug Inc., George and Rice added a partner, Marilyn Hansen.

Llama already has 600 clients. Most of them are connected with the military, according to Charles George, Llama's sales manager.

George says Llama Wholesale Drug and Electronic Finders depend largely on military business. Small businesses are granted a certain percentage of government business each year, George says.

Llama sells prescription drugs to veterans' hospitals and military bases. Llama plans to solicit business from retail pharmacies within the next several months.
