Living it up with... Style City/people Duncan Barkes, 35, presents The Duncan Barkes Show, weekdays, from 9am, on CityTalk.
What are you reading? I've just finished Pete Price's autobiography, Namedropper, and started a biography about comic genius, Peter Cook.
Where did you last eat out? A great Indian restaurant just around the corner from the CityTalk studios - Master Chef, on Renshaw Street.
Where do you splash the cash? Any shop with second-hand vinyl. It's my new guilty pleasure and one I highly recommend.
Popular music is not worth bothering with after 1995 in my view.
Describe your style? A cross between Bertie Wooster and Billy Bunter. I seem to blunder my way through life, drink in hand, wondering where the next pudding will come from.
What was the last movie you watched?
Bogie was a legend.
Who does your hair? Les - the same man who has done for many years.
Who do you think has style? Mr Bean, above.
Who is your ideal date? My wife. If she's not reading this, then Scarlett Johansson.
What's your poison? Red wine, real ale, malt whiskey or Earl Grey.
When did you last treat yourself? Last week, when I visited the Turmeaus tobacconist, in Fenwick Street, and bought my favourite H Upmann Corona cigars.
What was the last great party you went to? The Last Great Cigar Party. It was more like a wake on the eve of the draconian smoking ban coming into effect.
What can't you live without?
Apart from family and love - red wine and cheese.
Why Liverpool? I've worked at national and regional radio stations, but the opportunity to be part of a new talk radio station for Liverpool was too good to miss.
Ideal dinner date Scarlett Johansson
