Living culture, living green. (Northern Australia Campaign).

"Living Culture, Living Green: Creating Working Models in Northern Australia" is a seminar program jointly hosted between ACF, Cairns and Far North Environment Centre, James Cook University and CSIRO, which occurs every second Thursday at JCU Cairns Small Crowther Theatre, 5-7pm.

Keynote presentations and discussions include conservation planning, indigenous land management, appropriate economic models, integration across the land-sea interface, and establishing thresholds for healthy country.

Cape York Peninsula's future is more secure thanks to the Queensland government's cancellation of mining leases at Shelburne Bay, and the purchase of Liyvale and Archer Point coastal lands for conservation.
