Lister lifts the lid on its new LFT-C supercar.
RENOWNED sports car maker Lister has unveiled the fastest and most powerful open-top supercar in its 66-year history - the exclusive LFT-C. Based on the Jaguar F-Type R, just 10 LFT-C models will be built by the British firm for the worldwide market, with each car receiving a solid silver plaque on the engine cover displaying its chassis number.
Power comes from a supercharged Jaguar V8 engine developing 666bhp, resulting in a top speed in excess of 205mph and a 0-62mph sprint time that's a shade over three seconds - making it quicker than the company's celebrated Le Mans supercar.
The stunning machine features bespoke Lister carbon-fibre body panels for the front and rear of the car, including a new grille design and rear diffuser.
These give the car an increased visual road presence and more aerodynamic profile than the F-Type.
Tailoring the wheels, exhaust, suspension and braking systems of the popular LFT-666 coupe to suit the new convertible ensures the car delivers both road comfort and track performance, says Lister.
Luxury is also a high priority and the LFC-T cabin is swathed in handstitched Bridge of Weir Nappa leather - including the roof lining and dashboard.
The LFT-C starts at PS139,000, with unlimited bespoke options and a sevenyear warranty available, and orders are being taken now.
Lister Motor Company boss Lawrence Whittaker said: "The noise of the 666hp Lister-tuned V8 is incredible with the roof down and the styling adds real aggression to the looks.
"The LFT-C also finds a place in the firm's history books as the fastest open-top Lister ever made. This is a very special car."
