Lisa puts dark days of drugs behind her.
And she is getting a huge boost from fans demanding to see more of her.
Now 30-year-old Lisa Nicole is focusing on her Hollywood career and leading a more stable life. She told friends: 'I'm a much happier person.
'Those dark days are behind me. Life is good and, from now on, I am going to get the most out of it.'
Lisa had been shut up for eight days in the mental ward at New York's Lennox Hospital. And she was also busted by cops at a luxury Beverly Hills hotel.
But recently the busty star, who plays Ally's level-headed room-mate Renee Radick, was seen strolling happily in the Los Angeles seaside suburb of Santa Monica, chatting on her mobile phone. She sat in the sun on a doorstep, waiting for a friend to turn up with a dog.
An onlooker s aid: 'Lisa Nicole looked as if she didn't have a care in the world. She had a big smile on her face and looked radiant.
'It is obvious she is trying to get on with her life and isn't going to let the troubles in her past get her down any longer.'
The actress's role on the show is on the up-and-up. An insider said: 'She is one of the favourite characters. The producers get a tremendous amount of mail about her acting... and singing.
'There was a wonderful fan response to an episode here in the States where she and Jane Krakowski were vying to be the lead singer at Ally's birthday bash, and it turned into a hilarious brawl.'
