A high-capacity, full-flow bag filter works in conjunction with the treater. The bag filters offer an alternative to bulky "Y" strainers and sand and gravel filters; they offer, according to the company, full-flow filtration at a reasonable cost, and reduce downtime, conserve water and are clean and easy to operate. A sentinel pressure-drop alert system detects pressure drops across filter media as low as 3-5 psi.
