Lion, Ota Sleep Center Elucidate that Tomato Vinegar Helps Improve Sleep Quality.
Specifically, the two partners have verified that tomato vinegar helps improve sleep quality. Using a polysomnogram, they have analyzed how the intake of drink added with tomato vinegar affects sleep quality. The results indicated that the number of hours of deep sleep increased when the subjects had tomato vinegar-added drink.
In additional studies, the partners identified two factors in improving sleep quality. GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in tomato vinegar helps relieve stress, while tomato vinegar helps improve peripheral blood circulation, inducing deeper sleep.
Lion plans to present these findings at upcoming academic meetings.
