Linx Printers for Coding and Marking Snacks

Offering new standards of print quality and versatility, the Linx range of micro-processor-controlled continuous ink jet printers are suitable for many coding and printing applications. They have the ability to print on to the packaging of a wide variety of snack and convenience foods.

Incorporating a number of unique patented technical features, these printers are able to maintain a consistently high quality of print on virtually any surface, including cardboard, stretch and shrinkwrap using 5 to 34 dot matrix heights to form a range of characters and print options.

Different printheads can also be used to provide everything from small quality printing to large, bold, solid characters and up to four lines of print. Characters can be proportionally spaced for true print quality appearance.

Information to be printed is entered and amended directly through a keyboard and the printers are capable of storing a large number of user-defined message formats. Fully menu driven software means that little operator training is required.

Extremely fast in operation, Linx printers are capable of matching the fastest production lines and printing processes currently in use. The automated start-up procedure further reduces production times.

Designed to operate in typical production line environments, they are housed in rugged splashproof casings with an hermetically sealed printhead for a high level of protection and simple and effective cleaning.

All printheads are factory set and require no further adjustment. They are designed to snap in and out, so that any change in print requirements can be made in a matter of minutes.
