Like A Good Neighbor

State Farm Insurance Co. could bring as many as 70 new jobs to town if its plans for a new 14,000-SF claims office in west Little Rock work out.

The company, which already has locations on Colonel Glenn Road and in North Little Rock, has its eyes on a 2.5-acre site on the northwest corner of Ranch Boulevard and Ranch Drive off Hwy. 10.

The $380,000 land sale should close in December. Contracts haven't been let for the development, and it could be as late as 1992 before the project materializes.

The would-be seller is Ranch Properties Inc., led by the folks who brought us Financial Centre Corp. - Robert Shults and Ed Willis.
