Lightstone Solutions' Brandon Benallie Earns EnCase(R) Certification.

PHOENIX, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Lightstone Solutions, LLC announced today that its Director of Network Forensics, Brandon Benallie, has earned certification from Guidance Software Inc., as an EnCase(R) Certified Examiner (EnCE(R)). The EnCase(R) Certified Examiner (EnCE(R)) program certifies both public and private sector professionals in the use of Guidance Software's EnCase computer forensic software. EnCE(R) certification acknowledges that professionals have mastered computer investigation methodology as well as the use of EnCase during complex computer examinations. Recognized by both the law enforcement and corporate communities as a symbol of in-depth computer forensics knowledge, EnCE(R) certification illustrates that an investigator is a skilled computer examiner.

"We congratulate Mr. Benallie on his accomplishment. EnCase(R) certification requires extensive training and continuing education, and indicates that the methodologies and tools used by Lightstone Solutions' computer forensic investigators are accepted and endorsed by the courts," said Jefford L. Englander, CFCE, EnCE, Vice President, Computer Forensics and Electronic Discovery.

Few computer forensics investigators complete the rigorous certification process. Only 850 people worldwide -- 600 of them in the United States -- have earned EnCase(R) certification in the time that Guidance Software has been offering this certificate. There are fewer than 10 EnCase(R) certified computer forensics examiners in Arizona.

"This is a particularly proud moment for Lightstone Solutions," said Bill Papazian, President and CEO of the company. "We dedicate a significant portion of our practice to working with Tribal clients and are delighted to have helped Mr. Benallie become the first Native American and the first member of the Navajo Tribe to earn this prestigious certification."

Brandon Benallie joined Lightstone Solutions in 2005. Prior to joining Lightstone, Mr. Benallie had over 10 years of experience in the field and has previously held various positions both domestically and in Japan related to web development, network administration, and as an information security consultant specializing in the Linux and UNIX environments. Mr. Benallie is a member of the Navajo Tribe.

"I am thankful to Lightstone Solutions for the opportunity to have received the experience and training necessary for this certification," said Brandon Benallie, Director of Network Forensics of the company. "I have not only reached a personal milestone for myself, but I have created a new one for the Navajo people."
