Traffic management products developer Lightspeed Systems has announced the immediate availability of its Total Traffic Control Spam Blocker.

The product offers five levels of protection against unwanted and unsolicited e-mails and monitors, prevents and reports on them in real-time. Total Traffic Control Spam Blocker is now being included in the company's Total Traffic Control v3.0 network management tool.

A recent report from Jupiter Media Metrix has claimed that spam will make up 43% of all e-mail received by consumers by 2006.

No pricing details were disclosed.
