Light green chic.

How refreshing to find Natural Life at my local Chapters bookstore newsstand. I find it so refreshing compared to all these born-again, light green environmentally hip web zines and print mags.

I love the way you address the small things that people can do in their everyday lives to make changes. Real things, beyond buying the latest new and cool stuff to replace the perfectly serviceable stuff they already have. How green is that!? Natural Life presents down-to-earth and honest info, rather than falling all over itself to be morally superior. Yes, when my current bedding is worn out, I'll buy organic cotton or wool, but I don't believe that commercializing my concern for the environment will accomplish anything ... except to put money in the pockets of companies, some of which are just bandwagon hoppers.

That's not to say I don't read all of the ads in Natural Life, and respond to many of them; I do. It's just that I'm glad your principles haven't been lost in the gloss. And, like the Publisher wrote in the summer issue, that integrity rubs off on the advertisers.

It boggles my mind that NL has been around for 30 years--since long before green was a chic color. Congratulations to you for keeping on keeping on.
