Life is precious.

Could I bring to your awareness the so-called Joffey Bill or Assisted Suicide Bill.

Has our society really got to the place where such a thing is to be accepted as kind? Are we as animals and pets now? Has society's quick fix, instant solution mentality truly gone this deep?

God forbid that we can no longer take the time to comfort the dying and the suffering, rather than recommend an injection for death.

This bill must not go through. All life is precious. We cannot choose to recommend death to those who suffer.

Where would it stop? The pressure on the elderly and disabled to consider themselves burdens upon family and society - and many would with or without encouragement - would grow dramatically simply with this bill's existence.

We must not stand by and watch. Such indifference must be checked. Please say something to someone, your MP, your doctor. Please be heard.
