Liberty Electric Cars, an Oxford-based company, is producing more than 1,000 units of the electric Range Rover.

The electric Range Rovers are to be priced at GBP125,000 and will cover a range of 200 miles.

The company will be investing GBP30m in the re-engineering of various large luxury cars and SUVs and is likely to create around 250 jobs.
