The government of Liberia has expanded a prosecution team to investigate former central bank officials.
The government has included the head of the Asset Investigation Restitution and Recovery Team (AIRReT), Arthur Johnson, into the team that is to investigate former central bank officials accused of fraud.
Johnson is also chair, Special Independent Prosecutors. The five defendants have been charged with economic sabotage, money laundering, criminal conspiracy and facilitation.
