Lexington High School and Academic Magnet School take first place in SCJAS Challenge Bowl.

This year's South Carolina Junior Academy of Science Challenge Bowl was help on the lovely campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC on October 23, 2010. Teams from across the state participated in the competition that tests students' knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics and math. Dr. Roger Schmidt of Columbia College proctored the rounds and Mrs. Tammy Taylor of Midlands Technical College served as time keeper and recorder. Lexington High School placed first in the junior division (9th and 10th grades) and the Academic Magnet School placed first in the senior division (11th and 12th grades). Individual team members are listed below:

Junior Division
