Lexington's fine run extended; SPORT SHORTS RACING.

LEXINGTON Place continued his sensational run of form by racking up his fourth win from as many starts since joining David O'Meara in the Catterick sunshine.

The three-year-old chestnut looked to be losing his way when finishing down the field at Nottingham and Newcastle on his last couple of appearances for Richard Fahey, but a switch of yards has led to a significant change of fortunes.

Having made a winning debut for O'Meara at Redcar less than a month ago, the three-year-old swiftly followed up at Leicester and then completed his hat-trick at Hamilton last Saturday in the familiar colours of Middleham Park Racing.

Sent off at 11-4 for his latest assignment in the Read Hayley Turner Every Friday Handicap, Lexington Place travelled with enthusiasm and was good value for his winning margin of three-quarters of a length over Satsuma.
