Letters: Well done Warwick.

Byline: Joseph James

WARWICK racecourse executive should be applauded for reducing admission charges for their old and valued patrons on February 24.

One can only hope this initiative will be noted by other executives, and that one-day half-price admission, as at Hay-dock Park, bless them, will be the accepted norm.

What frustrates this old codger even more is that the most affluent members of our society, 21 to 24-year-olds, often get concessions when we do not.

It must be said, in my case at least, that without a concession I simply cannot afford to make the journey.
