Letters: Overwhelming response to `missing person' plea; Alison Phillips expresses her thanks.

Byline: Alison Phillips

I AM writing again on behalf of my

father Tony Newman, for whom the Post printed in its letters page a

request for any information regarding his friend Harry Buckle.

The response he received was overwhelming, and the very same night that the letter was printed, he was able to contact Harry, and they are now planning to meet up.

My father would like to express his heartfelt thanks to all the people

who contacted him after reading the letter.
