Letter: your view - Tony Blair.

Byline: ANDREW THOMAS

THERE was a time within the Labour Party when the word "privatisation" was a dirty word and something those nasty Tories did when they were in government.

Since Tony Blair took over, the Labour Party has embraced capitalism with open arms, casting away their socialist credentials.

Whatever hardened red flag flying socialists will say, Gordon Brown has carried on with Tony's legacy.

Now the latest plan for privatisation is our well-loved but underfunded Post Office.

Labour's excuse was that the Post Office is losing money.

There are a number of government departments losing money, like the Armed Forces, NHS and DVLA.

Are those to be privatised?
