Letter: YourSay - Noise misery.

MILLENNIUM Point may not be everyone's choice as an open air venue.

But people living within a two-to-three mile radius of Cannon Hill Park, the County Cricket Ground and Tally Ho would have been able to enjoy the lovely weekends we have experienced recently had more events been held there.

The events themselves are not the problem - it is the PA systems which create appalling noise pollution with people screaming into microphones at the top of their voices.

Noisy neighbours would have had their equipment confiscated by environmental inspectors, but the licensing authority do not appear to consider this a nuisance.
