Letter: Your view - Proud now?

Byline: William Gaff

IT is unbelievable that fire and rescue teams should be disciplined for refusing to hand out leaflets at a gay pride rally.

These people risk their lives day in, day out and are also expected to deal with fire deaths, road accidents and scenes of total devastation.

Their disciplinary board should be sacked and replaced with experienced personnel who have worked their way through the ranks, not some pen pusher whose only hazard in his working day is a paper cut.
