Letter: Your view - Fly weight fight.

Byline: K. Chisholm

OH dear. It may be a hornet's nest and frightfully un-PC, but surely reader Phil McCusker has a point?

Particularly in view of rising fuel costs, why should someone who looks after themselves pay the same airfare, and have the same luggage, as some salad dodger in the next seat (or seats)?

The answer is simple - you weigh passenger, hold luggage and hand luggage together. And you charge accordingly. And to answer the obvious objection, you charge initially for the traveller's own estimate.
