Letter: Your Say - Welcome to the real world.
ALTHOUGH most people had sympathy with the fact that 5,000 people were made unemployed due to the Rover collapse in 2005, it is hard to have sympathy now they are in the real world and earning the same as the rest of us hard-done-by employees have earned for years.
Let's face it, it was partly their own greed that helped lead Rover to collapse in the first place.
The Evening Mail article of November 12 stated a quarter of workers said they were now having to draw on savings to live.
I would love to be able to draw on savings.
But due to the fact that I have worked in low paid jobs all the years that Rover workers were flaunting their wealth I never had the luxury of being able to save.
It was and still is a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul.
