Letter: Your Say - Veterans called up.

Byline: TOM MORGAN

WE are a group of ex-Army veterans who served in the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and saw active service in Malaya between 1947 and 1951, and India and Burma during the Second World War.

The KOYLI drew their recruits from all over the UK and we are trying to reach as many of our old comrades as possible, some of whom could be living in the Teesside area but are unaware of our association and reunion.

We would like to invite these old friends to the KOYLI Malaya-India and Burma Veterans Association's 21st annual reunion on Saturday, April 25, from noon at the Coronation Working Men's Club, Tranmoor Lane, Armthorpe, Doncaster, Yorkshire.

I hope to see some of you there.

TOM MORGAN, 1st Battalion KOYLI (1948-53)
