Letter: Your Say - Nobody asked me.

Byline: Darren Murphy

SURELY for an Audit Commission to give a fair and just result you must obtain the views of the customers of those being audited.

As a council tenant, I for one was not invited to give an opinion on Birmingham City Council housing department's ability to provide adequate housing.

I take it then that the Audit Commission who gave the housing department two stars with excellent prospects did so via a mixture of fancy slideshows, colourful literature and a tour of the most recently upgraded areas of Birmingham.
