Letter: You say - Tall ships success.
Byline: Karan Evans2275 (WALTON) Sqn Air Training Corp were privileged to be a part of the Tall Ships event last weekend.
The experience was amazing, we have assisted at several public events and this was by far the best organised.
The security/event staff were polite, courteous and very helpful even though they had to deal with a small minority of the public who abused them.
The cadets were able to meet and talk to crewmembers from several nations andwere invited on board the Spirit of Fairbridge berthed at the AlbertDock.
One of the most exciting momentswas meeting the crewof the Brazilian Naval Academy Ship Cisne Branco who were so full of life even at 9amon an overcast Sunday morning they were dancing on the deck of the ship.
We would just like to thank all of the organisers of the event on the success of the event and look forward to attending future events in the city.
