Letter: YOUR SHOUT - Shame on fiddling MPs.

Byline: AP, Prudhoe

THERE'S been a lot in the news lately about MPs of all parties fiddling their expenses.

What happens to them when they are found out? Nothing. Ordinary people living on the breadline who find themselves having to fiddle their benefits just to put food on the table can be sent to prison.

Hardly a fair society is it? Most MPs and politicians are overpaid, underworked and are a complete waste of space.

If they worked for a private company and were caught fiddling expenses they would lose their jobs and would be prosecuted for their crime. Someone once said politics is a dirty business. How right they were. AP, Prudhoe.
