Letter: YOUR SHOUT - Park plagued by geese dirt.

Byline: CM

DONT get me wrong, I love Saltwell Park to bits, I go there every day with my dog.

Yet this Sunday, a beautiful sunny day, I thought I would go out a little bit earlier with the dog to the park. Walking through the park, I got to the lake and now I know what the soldiers felt like when they found themselves in a mine field. It was absolutely covered with faeces.

The park has too many geese.

They moved from one part, where they have already made a mess, to the other side where they are now making a mess.

Surely something can be sorted out with the geese?

Children must be at risk.

Come on Saltwell Park, come on Gateshead Council, do something.

If the Lord Mayor had been there for a do, the dirt would have been cleaned up, and the place would have been spotless. CM, Low Fell
