Letter: Wake up call.

Byline: Elizabeth Grant

I DO hope that the city fathers show some leadership and go for one of those fantastic designs for the Fourth Grace on the Pier Head.

When I read your excellent coverage, I kept on thinking that Manchester must be consumed with envy. They have nothing like our Three Graces but they have been driving their city forward anticipating the 21st Century.

Now we have our chance. Don't flunk it, Liverpool Vision, nor you, our apathetic councillors.

Wake up to the opportunity to revive our city's fortunes.
