Letter: Volunteer for conservation.
I AMwriting to tell you and your readers about the 10th anniversary of conservation organisation, Biosphere Expeditions, which runs volunteering expeditions, making a significant difference to the lives of endangered animals across the globe.
To date, over 100,000 hours have been spent by Biosphere Expeditions volunteers onwildlife conservation projects, helping to protect hundreds of animals and habitats.
To continue to protect wildlife and habitats in this way, Biosphere Expeditions needs more volunteers fromCardiff to help undertake this vitally important work.
During every expedition, volunteers have the opportunity to learn about and gain a greater understanding of our biosphere, at the heart of a conservation work team. And using Biosphere Expeditions' Land Rovers to negotiate often difficult terrain, each volunteer can explore some of the most fascinating parts of the world.
This year, people in Cardiff can also join Biosphere Expedition's UK taster weekends, mini expeditions in England's National Parks, where volunteers will learn all the skills they need for expeditions abroad.
