Letter: Viewpoints - Why no bus timetables?

Byline: Martin Rees

AS we approach the Easter bank holiday, can Stagecoach, which operates throughout South Wales and The Marches, simply explain to potential bus day-trippers where current bus timetables can easily be obtained?

For neither its main office at Cardiff Bus station nor the tourist office, situated in the former central library at the Hayes, Cardiff, are in a position to assist.

If you telephone the firm's customer services department at Porth the potential bus day tripper is informed that, sadly, they do not mail out relevant bus timetables any more.

What a shambles from a major bus operator which covers a large area of South Wales and further afield!

Possibly they simply do not wish to have day trippers on their numerous bus services?
