Letter: Vanishing car parks.
ON FRIDAY night, I went to see the Young at Art exhibition, which was organised by the Chester group Art for Art's Sake, in conjunction with the Chester Civic Trust. The art on show was of a very high standard and well laid out.
County councillor Nora Dolphin told us that there is a distinct possibility that the Gun Shed, in the Castle grounds, could be made available as an exhibition centre for visual and creative arts. The great shame is that Chester City Council are allowing the disappearance of car parks in the city centre which act as a base camp for visitors to Chester. After shopping, they can leave their purchases in their cars and then go and see such exhibitions.
