Letter: The BIG issue - New message on blades.

Byline: Jean Connor

IN A victory for the Mirror's Stop Knives campaign, youngsters in 160 senior schools will be able to use an anonymous text hotline to safely tip-off police about fellow pupils they fear are carrying knives. The scheme will be set up in Britain's worst knife-crime areas - and you welcome the plan...

PARENTS should also take note of this new text line number. They must suspect what their kids are up to when they are out on the streets. A call now may prevent their own child becoming a casualty later.
