Letter: The BIG issue - Grill them all.
AFTER the arrest of Labour Party fundraiser Lord Levy last week, the cash-for-peerages affair rumbles on. While he and various MPs have blasted the highprofile probe, there is speculation that the Prime Minister may soon be quizzed over the secret loans...
FTER the disastrous raid in Forest Gate, Labour MPs were falling over themselves to justify the police's actions.
They said that in the search for terrorists, a few innocent people were bound to be arrested and questioned in error.
So now, why are some New Labour MPs questioning whether Lord Levy should have been arrested last week? Under the same principle, surely when police are searching for corrupt Labour cronies in a probe into shady deals, a few innocent people are bound to be arrested in the pursuit of the dishonest slimeballs.
The police must be seen to treat everyone equally.
