GORDON Brown's Budget is a blueprint for future growth. Pensioners - too often forgotten - families, education and business will all benefit.
No doubt the critics will whinge about it being aimed to boost his chances of becoming Prime Minister but there's something in it for everyone.
Apathy at the polls at the next election will only allow the opposition parties to gain momentum and, heaven forbid, enable a Tory victory - which surely no one who remembers Thatcher's legacy wants.
