Letter: Stop blaming badgers for bovine TB.

Byline: GRAHAM MILES

Dear Editor, - I was upset that the BBC Midlands News showed cattle being put down on a farm suspected of having TB. Surely there must be a more humane way of killing animals?

Could not a powerful sedative be put in their feed so they are unconscious before being killed?

As for the slaughtermen they are the lowest of the low.

They seem to have no respect for the animals. How can any caring human being behave in such a way?

The line between being civilised and being a savage is fine and I know which side these slaughtermen fall.
