Letter: Short points - IN response to Evelyn Power's.

Byline: Pete Charles

IN response to Evelyn Power's despairing poem "The Duvet Cover" (ECHO, Dec 1), I am pleased to communicate the best way to put on a cover.

Push the two corners of the duvet at the head end into the corners of the cover and grip one in each hand on the outside of the covertoholdtheduvetin place underneath. Then, stand on your bed and hold the duvet above your head so it hangs down over the edge and shake it so the cover slips down around the duvet.

Lay it back on the bed, button it up and flick it out to produce a Mexican wave effect. My record is 36 seconds.

Pete Charles, Aigburth
