Letter: Short point.

I am writing to express my disgust at two Liverpool hackney drivers who decided to try to overtake a funeral procession I was following going up County Road. Not only did they interrupt the procession by 'cutting in' they also 'tailgated' until we turned up Hale Road towards St Francis de Salles church.

They obviously had no respect when other drivers did. There is no excuse for their impatience because they had their lights on! We actually held the wake at the Liverpool taxi club - how poignant!
