Letter: Mailbag - Pleasant days?

DID you finish your schooling at Mount Pleasant Secondary Modern School, Lockwood, in summer 1958? A group of former classmates from that year are still looking for people who did and now will becoming senior citizens!

After 50 years of work and endeavour, we are hoping to organise an evening's get-together to hopefully re-live a lot of happy memories, and rekindle many old friendships.

We would welcome anyone who was connected with the school in that year, in whatever capacity, and we would certainly welcome everyone to a wonderful evening together.

If you would like to be a part of these celebrations, please get in touch by ringing Ralph Hirst on 01484 643634, or, Joan Kaye on 01484 651105 and we will give you what information we can. Please watch the Mailbag in this newspaper for an announcement of the event when we will have final details.
