Letter: Mail Box - M8 COULD BE YOUR ROAD TO RUIN, ALEX.

Byline: Sam Black

I HAD a wonderful golfing trip in Scotland. Tremendous hospitality, good food and even blue skies. The one problem I had was knowing where I was going. I lost count of signposts covered with overhanging trees, untrimmed hedges and blocked by other signs advertising products or services. We visitors trying to cope with left-hand driving - need those signs badly. Next year, Scotland is promoting "Homecoming". My challenge is for local authorities to trim trees and hedges around signposts.- Sam Black, Illinois, USA.
