Letter: Mail Box: KEEP BAD SPORTS OUT OF RUNNING; pounds 20 letter.

Byline: John MacDonald

IT is wrong to kick someone when they are down but I am glad sprinter Dwain Chambers lost his appeal to compete in the Olympics.

Chambers knew the rules and what would happen if he broke them and it is right that he should pay the price. He is a drug cheat and a rotten example to the coming generation of British athletes. Winning is important but we don't want dope-heads to represent us - we want sportsmen. - John MacDonald, by email.
