Letter: Knights of the road.

Byline: Rosalind Prince

MAY I through your letters page give my sincere thanks to two gentlemen who came to my aid on Thursday, January 5, after I tripped up the kerb in Carhampton

Road? The first gentleman, a passing motorist, got me to my feet.

The second, an unknown near neighbour, drove me the few yards up the road and escorted me to my front door.

Their help was most appreciated.

They were kindness personified' knights in shining armour to a damsel in distress.
