Letter: Did title put people off?

Byline: Brian Cook

ON Saturday evening I attended a performance of Erogenous Zones, a play by Frank Vickery, at the New Theatre. I was really shocked to see the stalls just over half full, and I don't think there were many in the circle, if any. The play, and its author, deserved a much better attendance.

The script was brilliant and the cast performed faultlessly. Were Cardiff theatre-goers put off by the title?

I would have thought such a cosmopolitan city would have had a more liberal-minded population.

Brian Cook
