Letter: Delightful panto.

Byline: S Wareing

I'D LIKE to say how much I enjoyed Southport Theatre's production of Cinderella this year.

I agreed with your reviewer, Emma Pinch, that there was truly something for everyone in the show, and the actor who played Buttons was a delight.

It may not have had the stellar cast of the Liverpool Empire production, such as Cilla Black and Jennifer Ellison, but I would bet it was just as good, if not better.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't know if it is an off-shoot of Liverpool's Capital of Culture year, but it is great that such high levels of professionalism and imagination are to be found in the provinces.
