Let it begin: the 2008 Power Broker Awards.

For two years running, the Power Broker Awards have been the way for brokers to differentiate themselves from their peers--or should we say, to prove they have few peers.

Risk executives say they want their brokers to possess strong communication skills, absolute ethics, creativity and innovation; to follow through in a solid, ongoing relationship; to provide superb negotiation skills and a big dose of persistence; and to wield an insider's understanding of their industry.

Do brokers deliver all these attributes? Is it even possible?

In the lest two years, we have found brokers who, if they haven't delivered all the goods, have come as close as humanly possible.
