Let's win some; It's as easy as Toofi as punters try to strike Gold.

Byline: GARRY OWEN i.taylor@dailyrecord.co.uk

PUNTERS will flock to Ayr racecourse tomorrow trying to turn silver into gold.

Thousands of fans will be aiming to outfox bookies in one of the highlights of the season - the Ayr Gold Cup.

Jack Dexter was handed a decent draw yesterday and is being backed to be the first Scottish-trained winner since Roman Warrior in 1975.

But I believe he will be edged out by Toofi who ran well in the Steward's Cup.

Let's hope I'm nap happy.
