HUNDREDS of stiiosl-children in Birmingham this week found a new lesson on their timetable -"Operation Stayalive."

The lessons, in road surety, arc part of un in-tensive two - week campaign aimed at cutting road Twenty - three School in Shard End and Stechford have been selected for the latest stage in the Ccncence rated campaign.

Road safety experts are convinced that that the schooll-room is the bust place for lunching young children of (he dangers existing on our roads' Each school has banners with the "Stayalive" emblem, posters and special teacher packs.

Entertainer Brian Lee is visiting the schools with his special road safety stage show.
