Lehrer McGovern Bovis, Inc.

Lehrer McGovern Bovis, Inc. (LMB), a national construction management and consulting company, recently announced several promotions in its Mid-Atlantic regional operations.

Ken Leach and Peter Schultz have been named senior vice presidents, and Michael Kalafut and Charles Rosemarino have been appointed assistant vice presidents. Ken Leach, is president of LMB's Technical Division (located in the firm's Princeton, New Jersey office), which specializes in research and development and pharmaceutical projects on a nationwide basis. He has extensive experience in the design and construction of R&D facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, laboratories computer facilities, and office buildings throughout the United States.

Previously, Leach served as a project executive responsible for projects for such companies as Merck & Company, Sandoz, and American Cyanamid Company. A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, he is a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers.

Peter Schultz, has over 26 years of diversified construction experience. In his former role as vice president of operations in New Jersey, he supervised such projects as the restoration of the New Jersey Statehouse, the construction of the Menlo Park Mall, the expansion of the Medical Center at Princeton, the restoration of Princeton University's Graduate College, and the construction of the New Jersey State Aquarium. In his capacity as senior vice president, he will be responsible for LMB projects in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Schultz is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. A registered Professional Engineer in the states of New York and New Jersey, he is also a member of the board of directors of the Middlesex - Somerset - Mercer Regional Council.

Michael Kalafut, has worked on a broad variety of projects, including schools; chemical process plants; petroleum refineries; data centers; and industrial, commercial, and public projects during his 16-year career. Recent project work includes the Center for Jewish Life at Princeton University; the Institute for Advanced Study; a mathematics building and lecture hall located in Princeton, New Jersey; a recreation center and library at Glassboro State College; and a dormitory/communications center at William Paterson College. A registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Kalafut holds a bachelor of engineering degree from the Stevens Institute of Technology and a master of science of degree in civil engineering from Rutgers University.

Charles Rosemarino, has over 10 years of experience in the field of project construction and renovation. His professional experience includes planning and detailed construction analysis on over one million square feet of projects. He has managed projects at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, the John Hopkins University, Alexander and Alexander, and the McDonough School in Owings Mills, Maryland. Rosemarino received a bachelor of science degree in building construction from the University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and a bachelor of science degree from Syracuse University.
