Left Hand starts Chainsaw.

The Left Hand Brewing Company of Longmont, CO, has released a new limited edition beer in their "Big Mo" series called Chainsaw Ale. The company calls it a "connoisseur" version of the brewery's Sawtooth Ale. "Chainsaw Ale is another big malty beer that opens with toasted malt, toffee and fruit flavors, yet closes with a swirling effect of garden herbs, cardamom, dry port and black cherry," says Chris Lennert, director of sales & marketing. "The beer is full bodied, ruby orange in color, and chops firewood at 9.0% alcohol by volume with 55 IBU's." Chainsaw Ale, which is packaged in a corked 750-ml silk-screened champagne bottle, will be available in select accounts in Colorado and neighboring states.
